    Seven Ritual Heart Sutra

VERY POWERFUL RITUAL TO AVERT HARM AND NEGATIVITIES

On Sunday, March 3, 2024, three monks (our Geshe la and 2 from Gajang Buddhist Centre) will be performing the Seven Ritual Heart Sutra.

This powerful and rare ritual is usually done to avert all harm and negativities caused by humans and non humans.  Today the world is filled with hatred and greed that cause so much suffering through war, violence, and cruelty.  Therefore, our temple felt the need to perform this powerful ritual not only to avert and pacify all that, but that the world may find a peaceful solution to the tragedy it is facing.

Because one receives a blessing in just being in the presence of this ritual being performed, it will be open to public where you can sit and meditate while the monks are chanting or if you wish to join us in chanting, we will provide the Sadana in English transliteration.

The ritual will begin at 9:00am and will conclude at 2:00pm with lunch break at 12:30pm.

The lunch will be potluck.  If you wish to join us, please make sure the dish you bring is vegetarian.

There is no fee to attend this ritual.

    Thank you!

Spelling (jorlok; Tib. སྦྱོར་ཀློག་) and pronunciation:

Geshe la encourages us to learn Tibetan to help gain deeper
understanding of the teachings, and gain access to prayers and rituals that have not been translated. The Tibetan word of the day is offered to give regular exposure to Tibetan reading and vocabulary.
