Dear friend,
There will be no prayers and Dharma teaching this week.
Geshe la said everyone worked really hard to make Neten Rinpoche visit a very successful one. He wants to thank everyone for their hard work and asks all to take a good rest.
We will resume our regular prayers meetings and Dharma teaching starting next Thursday, September 24th at 7:00 pm.

Thầy Geshe la gửi lời cám ơn tất cả các Phật tử đã chung tay góp sức cho việc hoằng pháp vừa qua của ngài Neten Rinpoche đươc viên mãn.
Để cho các Phật tử có thời gian nghỉ ngơi, chùa Tây Tạng sẽ không có buổi lễ vào thứ năm và thứ bẩy tuần này. Buổi cầu nguyện Phật mẫu Tara sẽ tiếp tục vào thứ năm 24 tháng 9 lúc 7 giờ tối.

  • Tibetan word of the day: མུ་

    མུ་

    permutation; possibility; boundary

    Spelling (jorlok; Tib. སྦྱོར་ཀློག་) and pronunciation:
    མུ་་ – ma zhabkyu mu
    mu

    We use this in Tibetan logic: mu sum, mu zhi. Three possibilities, Four possibilities
    Four Possibilities in the form of Questions:
    a) Is it possible that there is something that exists that is a table and also impermanent?
    b) Is it possible that there is something that exists that is not a table and also impermanent?
    c) Is it possible that there is something that exists that is a table and not impermanent?
    d) Is it possible that there is something that exists that is not a table and not impermanent?

    Geshe la encourages us to learn Tibetan to help gain deeper
    understanding of the teachings, and gain access to prayers and rituals that have not been translated. The Tibetan word of the day is offered to give regular exposure to Tibetan reading and vocabulary.
