Full Tara Prayer Monday Aug. 21 @7pm

There will be a total solar eclipse on Monday. It also happens to be the last day of the 6th month, the month in which Buddha first turned the wheel of Dharma. Since it will be a very powerful day, Geshe la decided he would like to hold a full Tara prayer for world Peace. It will take place Monday Aug. 21st at 7PM.

For the Full Tara prayer, please

  • bring your vajra and bell if you have them
  • bring offerings for the altar: flowers, fruits or cookies made without eggs or animal fats.
  • avoid eating meat, eggs, onions or garlic during the day until after the prayers.
