Banff Visit with Rinpoche Friday, Sept. 30

Hello Friends,

Please join HE Neten Rinpoche, Tenzin, and other Jam Tse Cho LIng Temple friends in Banff. We plan to visit Mount Norquay ski resort/area first, ride the ski chair lift to the top, take in the panoramic views, hike, visit interpretive trails, lunch, and so on. We can decide from there as a group to continue on or not.

When hiking in the mountains, PLEASE come prepared for Fall weather (rain, snow? wind, etc.), and bring:

-water, good hiking shoes, sun glasses, hat, sun screen, warm coat, layered clothing, mitts, a few light snacks (lunch will be in a restaurant, or bring a picnic lunch), tissue paper, …

Please meet at Jam Tse Cho Ling Temple (96 Whitehaven Cresc., N.E.), at 9am to car pool, or contact Faith – fmikkelsen.27 to make other arrangements to meet up.

NOTE: Chair lift tickets are $19 (adults), lunch will be available for purchase in one of the restaurants on the hill (summit or base), or plenty of nice areas to eat a picnic lunch, or in the base lodge if open, your choice.
