Here are a few events upcoming over the next few weeks.

Tara Prayer

Monday Jan. 21 at 7 p.m. to ~8:30 p.m.
The usual Tuesday prayer is cancelled this week, as we have a full moon (which is also a super moon and total lunar eclipse). It will take place Monday.

For the Full Tara prayer, please

  • bring your vajra and bell if you have them
  • bring offerings for the altar: flowers, fruits or cookies made without eggs or animal fats.
  • avoid eating meat, eggs, onions or garlic during the day until after the prayers.

Losar (Tibetan New Year) Celebrations

Tuesday Feb 5 at 7pm to ~8:30pm: A full Tara prayer is also taking place on the evening of the new year
Sunday Feb 10 at ~12:00pm (following the teaching): We will also hold a potluck lunch to celebrate Losar
